Bigbig Studios was founded in 2001 with the support of Evolution Studios, by a team of four experienced developers. Bigbig created the award-winning Pursuit Force for the PSP (PlayStation®Portable), and following its release impressed its industry peers enough to win a coveted Develop award for Best New Studio in 2006. With over a million sales, Pursuit Force and it's sequel Extreme Justice were the first games where players could jump between and fight on moving vehicles.
Bigbig's most recent release - Motorstorm Arctic Edge brings the third game in the brutal off road racing franchise to the icy wastes of Alaska and pushes the power of the PSP (PlayStation®Portable) and PlayStation®2 to the max.
Bigbig is a compact, tightly-focused studio which prides itself on employing some of the very best staff in the games industry. Its size means the staff get valuable hands-on experience of many aspects of creating a game, while employees also get all the benefits of being part of Sony Computer Entertainment.
Bigbig is conveniently located in the heart of England, in Leamington Spa, a picturesque town situated between Birmingham and Oxford with easy access by train and motorway, and an area which is rapidly becoming a creative hotspot for the video games business.
